Ho Chi Minh City - Saigon Nightlife

Our last adventure was a quick weekend trip to Ho Chi Minh City, otherwise known as Saigon, Vietnam.  First, the obligatory hotel room view.

Next stop?  The tailor of course...

This little guy was pretty fascinated with my camera.  Yes, his forehead was really that big.

Our friends weren't going to be in town until late, so David and I parked ourselves at a bar on the street corner - chairs facing out, beers for $1, and lots of action.

The lady in the video with the big stack of stuff is walking around trying to sell books.  Covers look nice, but it's just photocopies of pages on the inside.

David looking through the DVD's being sold on the street.

This looks safe-ish.

Walking back, we faced the problem of crossing the street, a bit dangerous as there are A LOT of motorbikes.  (Disregard Dave'd art direction in the background, he doesn't know what he's talking about.)

Short day today, long day tomorrow in the tunnels of Cu Chi.  Also heard that day: "Wait, is that Victor Hugo?"
