Bre in Town - We All Have Problems

After we left Tanah Lot, we had lunch at a place which was made memorable only by the unfortunate typo in the menu:

The rest of the days activities consisted of the beach, a massage and drinks.  I love Bali.

Bre made a new friend, who did her best to sell us bracelets and explain why she was wearing so many clothes in the blistering sun.  "You want to be darker, I want to be lighter," she said. "We all have problems."

The highlight of the afternoon was when a group of school kids tore down the beach on their bikes, stopped right in front of us, stripped down and ran into the waves.  It looked like some of them wore their suits under their school clothes and the rest just frolicked around in their underwear.  Ten minutes later they ran back, put their clothes back on and were gone.

That evening we headed to a place called Rock Bar to try and catch the sunset.  Our $19 massages ran long so we just barely caught the end of it.  Again, we all have problems.

The place is pretty cool - you have to take a little 4-person rail car down the side of the cliff to reach the bar.

The next day we had an early lunch then sat on the beach a couple more hours to watch the surfers and frolic in the ocean.

Sand still in between our toes, we headed back to the airport.  And reality.

After one way-too-quick last dinner at Clarke Quay in Singapore, it was time for Bre to go.

Bye Bre, thanks so much for coming to visit!!!!!  May your suntan last forever.
